\r\n\tWhat is being studied?
\r\n\t \u2022 The rate of COVID-19 infection
\r\n\t \u2022 Risk factors for infection (occupational and community)
\r\n\t \u2022 Antibody levels over time
\r\n\t \u2022 Uptake of vaccines against COVID-19
\r\n\t \u2022 Psychological impact of working during a pandemic
\r\n\tWho can participate?
\r\n\tStaff working at Grey Nuns Community Hospital, University of Alberta Hospital, or Royal Alexandra hospitals that are:
\r\n\t \u2022 Who are 18-75 years of age
\r\n\t \u2022 Who work anywhere in hospital for more than 20 hours per week
\r\n\tOR - is a physician, nurse practitioner, or midwife who works at least 8 hours per week caring for patients
\r\n\t \u2022 Who have access to a computer or phone with internet access, and
\r\n\t \u2022 Who plan to be available at least for the next 3 months
\r\n\tWhat is required?
\r\n\t \u2022 Questionnaires when you join and then shorter ones every week (online)
\r\n\t \u2022 Report when you are tested for COVID-19 (online)
\r\n\t \u2022 Report when you are vaccinated against COVID-19 (online)
\r\n\t \u2022 Self-collect blood spot samples
\r\n\t \u25aa when you join, in 6 months, at the end of the study
\r\n\t \u25aa when/if you test positive for COVID-19
\r\n\t \u25aa when/if you are vaccinated against COVID-19
\r\n\tParticipation is voluntary
\r\n\r\n\tParticipants will be provided with a small token of appreciation for taking part in the study.
\r\n\r\n\tPeople are welcome to join whether or not they have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
