Click here to log in</code></a></p>\r\n<p>\r\n\t<u><strong>What is being studied?</strong></u></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tThe number of COVID-19 infections and factors linked with infection</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tAntibodies against COVID-19</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tEffect of COVID-19 vaccines</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tPsychological impact of working during a pandemic</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>\r\n\t<u><strong>Who can participate?</strong></u><br />\r\n\tStaff working at any of the hospitals/sites associated with either Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS) or St. Joseph\u2019s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH)</p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tWho are 18-75 years of age</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tWho work <u>anywhere</u> in the hospital for more than 20 hours per week OR - is a MD/NP with privileges and spends at least 8 hours per week in the hospital</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tWho have access to a computer or phone with internet access, and</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tWho plan to be available at least for the next 3 months</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>\r\n\t<u><strong>What is required?</strong></u></p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tQuestionnaires:\r\n\t\t<ul>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t\tWhen you join</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t\tevery 2nd week</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t\twhen you are tested for COVID-19 --or-- have symptoms that might be COVID</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t\twhen you are vaccinated against COVID</li>\r\n\t\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tBlood samples:\r\n\t\t<ul>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t\twhen you join</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t\t30 days after you are vaccinated --or-- test positive for COVID-19</li>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t\tabout every 180 days after that</li>\r\n\t\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n\t<li>\r\n\t\tOptional:\r\n\t\t<ul>\r\n\t\t\t<li>\r\n\t\t\t\tinvite adults &amp; children in your home to join</li>\r\n\t\t</ul>\r\n\t</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n<p>\r\n\t&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>\r\n\tParticipation is voluntary</p>\r\n<p>\r\n\tA small monetary gift is available for participating.</p>\r\n<p>\r\n\tPeople are welcome to join whether or not they have been vaccinated against COVID-19.</p>\r\n<p>\r\n\t<strong>If you have questions, please email <a href=\"mailto:COVID.study@sinaihealth.ca\">COVID.study@sinaihealth.ca</a> or call (416) 294-6383 between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM business days.</strong></p>\r\n<p>\r\n\tHamilton site investigators:&nbsp; Dr. Mark Loeb (HHS) &amp; Dr. Marek Smieja (SJHH)</p>\r\n<hr />\r\n<p>\r\n\t<a href=\"https://form.simplesurvey.com/f/s.aspx?s=0841172f-200e-4574-965d-9c234025fb26\" target=\"blank\"><code>Click here to join</code></a> <a href=\"https://covid-sinai.tibdn.ca/\" target=\"blank\"><code>Already a participant?
