Join a research study about risk factors for COVID-19 in hospital workers

What is being studied?
    • The number of COVID-19 infections and factors linked with infection
    • Antibodies against COVID-19
    • Effect of COVID-19 vaccines
    • Psychological impact of working during a pandemic

Who can participate?
Staff working at Sinai Health (both Mount Sinai Hospital & Bridgepoint Health)
    • Who are 18-75 years of age
    • Who work anywhere in either hospital for more than 20 hours per week 
OR - is a MD/NP with privileges and spends at least 8 hours per week in the hospital
    • Who have access to a computer or phone with internet access, and
    • Who plan to be available at least for the next 3 months

What is required?
• online baseline questionnaires every 12 months;
    • brief online reports every 2nd week;
    • online questionnaires about your level of stress every 6 months;
    • online reports when you are tested for COVID-19 or have symptoms that may be COVID;
    • blood samples to assess COVID-19 antibody levels
    • Optional: invite adults and children in your home to join (optional, see the information sheets & consent forms, below, for details)

Participation is voluntary
Participants will be provided with a small token of appreciation for taking part in the study

Staff can join regardless of whether or not they have been vaccinated or already tested positive for COVID-19
